Dear Doctors,
I want to give some feedback on my experience at your shop. I brought my son, Jake, in for his first eye exam. He was a little apprehensive about what was going to happen and whether it would be uncomfortable. I was so happily relieved when your staff made the visit so enjoyable for him. The nice young lady who did his preliminary testing was so sweet and kind that he warmed up right away. Then, of course, Dr. Simmons’ kind manner made the actual exam a breeze.
Of special note was Nathan, who actually made Jake feel cool about getting his first pair of glasses! We did not expect to have to get glasses. But when Nathan reassured Jake that he had gotten his first glasses at the same age, Jake was at ease. He patiently waited through trying on numerous frame choices. By the time we left, Jake was counting the days until we could come back and pick up his new glasses.
Upon our return, Nathan was again very patient and fitted the glasses perfectly. He complimented Jake on his good choice of frames. It made me smile to see the whole experience become something so positive.
In a town where lousy customer service is the standard, your office was a bright example of what a little kindness can do.
